Here at C Four Paws, we welcome all breeds, sizes and ages of dogs this includes those with specific dietary or medical needs.
C Four Paws Boarding Kennels has been established since 1988 as a family run business. We offer dog boarding, doggy day care and a collection and delivery service.
We have always been known for providing first class accommodation and care. We take great pride in the facilities on offer here and the service we provide.
We are very fortunate to be situated in such a beautiful, quiet setting, yet conveniently accessed from Sheffield, Chesterfield, North Derbyshire and the M1.
We employ a large team of permanent and dedicated staff, who are passionate about dogs and providing great care; many of whom have worked with us for a number of years. This experience means the staff get to know the dogs in our care well, and the dogs know them, too.
Our high staff-to-dog ratio also means we are able to deliver a full programme of activities for dogs each day, ensuring all dogs in our care are well-fed, well-exercised, their kennels are kept clean and any individual requirements can be catered for (e.g. extra walks, special dietary requirements).
We walk all the dogs twice daily in our secure walking paddocks, so all the dogs get off the lead to run around and play.
All dogs visiting C Four Paws must be fully vaccinated, wormed and free from fleas. Vaccination records must be provided to ensure the well being of other visiting dogs, our dogs, us and our kennels.
We have a 5-star rating from Chesterfield Borough Council’s licensing team, the highest rating possible. We have an on-site, fully-qualified groomer. We can offer a full clip and make over or just a wash and a brush.
Quarantine
Established since 1988, we are one of the most modern and up-to-date quarantine kennels in the UK, architecturally designed to all the latest DEFRA regulations and offering first-class, comfortable accommodation for pets. Our kennels greatly exceed APHA/DEFRA size specifications (some by up to five times). Giving them lots of space to run & play as well as a luxury room to rest and relax inside.
Our spacious dog kennels give a panoramic view, and the wire of the runs goes down to the ground, allowing even the smallest dog to see out in all directions. They can thus “play” with each other without coming into contact, helping to stimulate them and enabling them to settle down more easily.
We are a licensed quarantine carrier as well as accommodation facility so we can handle your requirements and give your pet the continuity of care from end to end. Our DEFRA approved vet is onsite most days and on-call 24hrs a day.
We allow contact visiting and so you can spend lots of time in the rooms and runs with your pet catching up on cuddles and playtime together. If you can’t come to visit we can send you photos and updates to your phone or email address.
We are some of the most knowledgeable and experienced quarantine owners in the UK. This means we can help you navigate the quarantine process and importantly get your pet home to you as soon as possible, ensuring great care on the way, keeping you informed and answering any question you have.
